“Jonathan has done a great job over the years maintaining our 175 gallon freshwater planted aquarium and our considerably smaller neon tank (and we anticipate many more years to come). Jonathan has everything covered, from the usual regularly scheduled tank maintenance, to the extra stops when we are out of town. He even did a total conversion of our canopy from VHO fluorescents to highly efficient LEDs. We are very appreciative of the fact that while it’s getting harder to find freshwater tropical fish in the Raleigh area, he was able to get us some great additions to our community aquarium. We are about to set up our first saltwater tank, so we came here for an expert’s advice. The owner was so helpful and knowledgeable. He has a great selection of saltwater fish, corals, live rock, and more. Once we get the tank set up and cycled, this will be our go-to place!

Great spot for all of your reef/saltwater needs! Owner and his other employee Bradley are great, super knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. I was able to put a deposit on some fish while my tank was still cycling. Will definitely be back for all of my saltwater needs. I was also able to snag a beautiful piece of driftwood for my south American cichlid tank.

I’ve been shopping at this store frequently as part of the process of setting up my reef tank. The store is very clean, selection is good, and the owner is extremely kind and helpful. Most importantly, every fish and coral I bought from here has been healthy… What I can say about this store is that the owner must be doing something right, as all the fish look good, the corals look good, and they stay good when I bring them home.
